We’re in love with mid-century Grand Prix racing. The speed. The glamour. The cars (swoon). The Stirling ‘61 Brief was inspired by the bold colors and bright stripes common in race cars of this era. Only later did we stumble on to Stirling Moss’s Lotus 18 with which he won the 1961 Monaco Grand Prix...a navy blue stunner with one white stripe.
Our feather-light and dazzling Stirling ’61 brief was inspired by the glamour of vintage racing. Hand-built with rich, Italian leather, fail-proof stitching and ageless metal, it was designed for show but built to last. The Campeche also features a shoulder strap and a spacious interior with a clever assortment of pockets, pouches and pen holders to accommodate a 15” laptop and a day's worth of other gear.
We use only full-grain, Italian leather. That might not mean a whole lot to you, but to us it means our bags are made with the highest quality leather from the best tanneries in the world. Our leather is also twice-tanned to give it an unusually soft hand. This process also makes the leather extra resilient and easy to care for. Our zippers and clips are made from surgical-grade steel which is infused with molybdenum so it will never corrode during your lifetime nor for generations to come. And our craftsmen and craftswomen use a unique, fail-proof stitching method which can take an incredible amount of wear and tear.
The Stirling ‘61 is spacious enough to hold a 15” laptop, a large phone, tablet, magazine, 4 pens, headphones, sunglasses, notebook, key ring, water bottle and still has room for much more. It’s perfect for everyday at the office, or wherever you do work.
